SERVICOM, which means “Service Compact with all Nigerians,” is a public service reform initiative launched by the Federal Government of Nigeria. It serves as a social contract between government institutions and citizens and is meant to improve service delivery throughout the country and promote the rights of citizens to good service. It is about service and service delivery, identifying where service fails or is failing, with a view to improving service for better development and quality of service.
It is with this in mind that the visionary Management of Delta State University, Abraka, led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Samuel O. Asagba, established the SERVICOM unit in the University on 4th August, 2025 with the redeployment of Mr. Denedo Emuobonuvie N. as the pioneer head of unit. We encourage all staff and student to take advantage of this initiative to challenge service failure anywhere, anytime, today by talking to SERVICOM, where YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE SERVED RIGHT!
